1. Privacy at a glance

Jihora is a privacy-first intermittent fasting app. We do not operate servers that collect your personal data. Your records stay on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud. We have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking, and we never sell your data.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit to ourselves, or sell any personal information. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

3. Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device so the app can work, and is under your control:

• Profile you enter (name or nickname, optional gender, optional date of birth, height, weight, goals)
• Your logs: fasting sessions, weight, water, meals, exercise, and body progress photos
• App preferences and settings

You can delete all of it at any time in Settings → Reset all data, or by deleting the app.

4. iCloud backup (optional)

If you enable iCloud backup, your data is backed up to your own iCloud account (Apple) so you can restore it after reinstalling. This stays within Apple's iCloud and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it. Progress photos are excluded by default; you may choose to include them when exporting a backup file.

5. Health data (HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, Jihora reads activity data from Apple Health (such as steps, active energy, exercise minutes, and heart rate) to show motivational graphs. This data is processed on your device only, is never sent off the device, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke access anytime in the iPhone Health app.

6. Location (optional)

If you tap "Set from my location," Jihora uses your location only to choose your country's food-calorie database. Your location is processed on the device and is not stored or transmitted to us or anyone else.

7. AI features (bring your own key)

AI features are optional:

• Apple Intelligence (on supported devices) runs on your device.
• Google Gemini: if you add your own Gemini API key, then when you use AI food-photo analysis or coaching, the relevant input (for example, a food photo or a summary of your fasting/weight/hydration) is sent directly from your device to Google under Google's API terms and Privacy Policy. We never receive this data. Your API key is stored only in your device's secure Keychain.

8. Purchases and payments

Jihora Pro is currently offered as a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple (StoreKit). It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Customers who previously purchased a monthly or yearly subscription may retain that legacy subscription, which Apple also processes and manages. We do not see or store payment information. You can restore eligible purchases on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.

9. Children

Jihora is not directed to children. Intermittent fasting may not be appropriate for minors; please see the safety notice in the app and consult a medical professional where appropriate.

10. Your choices and control

You can export your data to a file, restore from a file, reset all data, revoke Health/Location/Camera permissions in iOS Settings, and delete the app at any time.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
