1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the developer of FastWise ("we," "us"). By downloading or using FastWise (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

FastWise is a personal intermittent-fasting and wellness tracking app. It helps you log fasts, weight, water, meals, exercise, and progress photos, and shows estimates and encouragement. All calorie figures, projections, and coaching are general estimates for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate.

3. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to use intermittent fasting safely. The App is not intended for children, and fasting is generally not appropriate for minors.

4. Your data and responsibilities

Your records are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. You are responsible for backing up and safeguarding your data. If you connect your own AI provider key (e.g., Google Gemini), you are responsible for that key, its use, and any charges billed by that provider.

5. AI features and third-party services

AI features are optional. On-device features run locally; if you add your own provider API key, your inputs are sent to that provider under their terms. AI output (such as food recognition or coaching text) may be wrong or incomplete and must not be relied upon for medical, nutritional, or financial decisions. The App relies on third-party services including Apple and, if you choose, Google; their terms also apply.

6. Purchases (FastWise Pro)

FastWise Pro is sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; we do not process payments or refunds.

• Subscriptions (monthly / yearly) renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase and is not a subscription; it does not auto-renew. "Lifetime" means access for the lifetime of the app — that is, for as long as FastWise is offered and operated. If the app or service is discontinued with reasonable advance notice, lifetime access ends at that time. A lifetime purchase does not guarantee perpetual operation of the service.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The App and its content (excluding the data you create) are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App. Your own logs and photos remain yours.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that estimates are correct or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.

11. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Apple App Store — additional terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent of any maintenance, support, or warranty obligations, those are our responsibility, not Apple's; in the event of failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, and consumer-protection claims) and any third-party intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on a U.S. government restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. The standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App.
